Persepolis 2

by Marjane Satrapi
Review by Magnus

This book continues the first Persepolis. It starts at Austria she just moves there for school she makes a bunch of friends and tries to fit in.  As time goes on she gets more comfortable and starts to beak the rules she gets kicked out. She tries a bunch of new things as her life goes on.

This book was good and i would recommend it. It does have some inappropriate parts and kinda sad and scary parts but i would still recommend it.  It is a kinda easy read but it is deep if you can handle this kind of read than i would highly recommend.

Persepolis

Author Marjane Satrapi

By Magnus

This book is about a girl named Marjane who lives in Iran. As she grows up she learns about her country and the Problems and the stupid laws there as her family bends them to make life better.  During this book Marjane goes through some tough experiences and learns to cope with the war.

I thought that this book was really good and i enjoyed a  lot.  It was a fun and interesting read.  this graphic novel has gives you a good understanding of the characters and the setting from the illustration and the dialog.  It is a good book and i would recommend it to a lot of people but it is about war and is a going through it.

The Adoration of Jenna Fox

Mary E. Pearson

genre science fiction

This book is about a girl who is adored a lot.  On day she has an accident and her family scientifically modifies her to the point that she is barely a human so they can save her.  After the accident then after that she goes on a journey for personal freedom.
I think this book was ok but it definitely wasn't a favorite because it decent suck me  into the book.  I will still recommend this book because it didn't completely suck and parts of it were good.

This One Summer

by Jillian Tamaki and Mariko Tamaki

genre: young adult

Magnus

This book is about a girl named Rose who goes to the same vacation spot  every summer.  while there she hangs out with her friend they experience inappropriate adventures and Rose has family problems.  This was a easy read but it was still a good book.  It had some P.G. 13 Moments.  but even with that i would recommend this to anybody who can handle P.G. 13 literature.

One for the murphy’s

By Linda Mullaly Hunt

Genre: young adult

Magnus

Carly Connors has grown up in a bad environment until her stepfather hurts her and she ends up in a foster home.  She desent like it at first so se acts very rude so she feels bad so she plays with the murphy’s kids she likes the murphy’s and then her mother gets better then she has to go back to her original mother.

My opinion of this book is that it is a good book I feel like it was well thought and has a good plot but I didn’t connect to this book a lot I do recommend it and I just think it is an al around good book.
